Infant Massage Class

Fee: $25 per Baby(2 adults permitted per baby) 

This class teaches parents the basic techniques used to give their babies a loving massage. Infant massage contains critical elements of bonding such as eye-to-eye contact, smiling, soothing vocal sounds, loving touch, caressing, smell, and mutual interaction. Done on a regular basis, massage helps babies sleep better, fuss less, reduces gas and colic, helps to strengthen and regulate the baby's primary systems (i.e. respiratory, circulatory, nervous, muscular and gastrointestinal) and emotionally nourishes the baby, while at the same time providing yet another opportunity for parent-child bonding, especially for dads. This is also great for primary caregivers of your baby, such as an aunt, uncle, grandparents or best friend. Please bring to class a towel or baby’s favorite blanket and of course, the baby! All other materials will be provided.
